the thing about her:
it's not about how she looks, it's about who she is. you may meet other beautiful women, but there's something unforgettable about her. it could be her aura, her essence, or her vibe, or it could  just be the fact that in a world so superficial, she chooses to be herself. that's the most beautiful thing about her. she's unaffected and the false opinions people may have about her. she just lives.  "

A major factor to being successful is to set goals and to work on them everyday. In order to fulfill your dreams it is best to set goals and to ensure you write everything down that you would like to accomplish whether it be something small or big. If it is something that is hugely significant to your life, then you should write it down. With a goal there is always an aim and something to work for and look forward to.

  1. Write your goals down. This way you can remember them and you can revisit them and look at the changes you have made with your previous and current goals. Get a journal where you can write down all you goals, instead of using a piece of paper that is easy to lose.
  2. Be precise about your goals. Your goals should be specific down to the colour and the size, that way there is an image in your head of what it is that you want.
  3. Separate your goals. Separate your goals into personal, financial, family, etc and then you want to separate your goals into long term (which could be 7 years from now) and short term (which is tomorrow and next week)
  4. Read your goals everyday. In self help books like, Think and Grow Rich, it is advised that you should read your goals to yourself every morning and every night. This way you are always thinking about them. I do not do this as much as I would like but it is a habit I am trying to get into.
  5. Work on your goals. Everyday. It is important to research about your goals and find different ways in which they can be executed properly. Personally I do not work on my goals everyday, because I feel demotivated and fearful at times but I always change my mindset to be positive about what I want.
  6. Put no limits to your goals. Whatever it is you want to accomplish you can do it, just work hard and believe that you can do it. Whenever I feel like giving up on my goals, I always try to remember why I started.
  7. Have a good WHY. This 'why' are the reasons why you want to accomplish your goals, so whenever you want to give up you can always say to your self "...this is why I started, so I am going to continue." This why is also a reason to try again after failure.
  8. Create a plan. Make sure there is a plan in place to accomplish your goals

"Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible."
Tony Robbins

"Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment."
Jim Rohn

"The new year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting goals."
 Melody Beattie

"What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals."
 Zig Ziglar

"When it is obvious that the goals cannot be reached, don't adjust the goals, adjust the action steps."
Confucius

"Our goals can only be reached through a vehicle of a plan, in which we must fervently believe, and upon which we must vigorously act. There is no other route to success."
Pablo Picasso

"What keeps me going is goals."
Muhammad Ali

"Review your goals twice every day in order to be focused on achieving them."
Les Brown

"Stop setting goals. Goals are pure fantasy unless you have a specific plan to achieve them."
Stephen Covey

p e r s o n a l s p a c e
(ˈpɜːsənəl speɪs)
noun
1.
freedom to be on your own at times; privacy; autonomy
Self-confidence means being relaxed enough to allow your lover their personal space.

Many times we get into relationships and friendships were we do not feel obligated to our own space, or if we do ask for space it means we are no longer interested in the relationship/friendship. Personally, space has always been vital to me. I need time to breathe, think and be alone. I love the companionship of my friends/family but personal space is also something that I need, everyday. I believe we all need our space to build back our physic energy.

For anyone who is reading and you feel bombarded and stiffed into a friendship/relationship, ask for your personal space and do it in a way where the other person understands that the time taken is for you. I have been in this situation before, where I could not get my personal space because I felt like it was my responsibility to stay in contact 24/7 and this drained all of my energy to the point were I could not focus entirely on myself for a minute because I was so caught up being in someone else's space and what they expected from me. Even when I asked for my personal space from the person I felt as though I was committing a crime because of how the other person reacted when I said ' I need space'. I did not mean that I wanted to cut the person off entirely, I just meant that I wanted a b r e a t h e r to think about the things happening in my life. Sometimes we all become prisoners to other people's requests, needs and wants and this, my darlings, drains every energy out of us.

So how can we rekindle our physic energy back to ourselves and out of another person? It's easy. Be selfish. Be selfish with your time, your space, your energy. It does not matter if the person is your mother, boyfriend, bestfriend, girlfriend, etc. Just do whatever pleases you without thinking about what the other person needs from you. The best thing to do is to let the person know you will get back to them when you can or just text/call back whenever you feel like, or don't.

In an interview with Oprah, Iyanla Vanzant said by giving someone time out of your space to the point where you are sacrificing yourself you are making them a thief, because you are giving them the time and energy that you barely have for yourself to them. She also spoke about a bible verse that says "My cup runneth over" and explained the importance of your cup (yourself) being filled up so that whatever comes out of the cup is for everyone else but what is the cup is for you. This could mean that your cup is filled with love or hate, strength or weakness, happiness or sadness, faith or fear, however whatever is in your cup will be poured onto others.

It is so important for us to regain focus on ourselves. To focus on our goals, whether in health, finance, friendship or family. It is important to regain focus on our dreams and to break down the limits we have placed on ourselves. Whenever I write my goals down I always tell myself that there is no limit to what I can do because "with man things are impossible, but with God all things are possible". To me God is the whole universe looking out for me with her best interest. Yes, God is a woman, because she gave life. <<<I just came up with that.>>> It is important for us to meditate and listen to our thoughts flow in and out of our brains so that we may know what we are thinking and what comes to our minds. When I say meditate I do not mean that you should take out your candles and begin to OM or do yoga but I mean to be in a quiet place by yourself where you can think about yourself and the dreams you would like to accomplish or whatever that comes to mind. However, do not dwell on negative thoughts.

Since I have ventured off into my own personal space starting around September 2017 I have noted a few things... Since I have been giving myself the personal attention and tending I have been indeed of

  • I am more confident. Confident enough to blog to my thoughts to the world.
  • I have been doing more goal setting
  • I have been doing more research into my goals
  • I have been focusing on a new carer path
  • I am more determined
  • I am motivated
  • I am resilient
  • I only care about my opinions pertaining to my life
  • I am happy
So from my list you can see that personal space and sometimes isolation is not a bad thing, especially when the main focus is on yourself and how you can become a better person.
That's it for this post, if you feel like you are in need of time out for yourself and away from friends/spouse/family then you should take that time out and be selfish with yourself and spend more time with you and get to know yourself.

According to the economics there is going to be another recession... soon. A fall in the economy, which means some of us are going to be laid of. Loose our jobs? OK PANIC ATTACK FOR EVERYBODY. SHIT. Do you know what hungry, stressed people are like? Fucking angry. Do you know what that means? A higher criminal rate... world wide. boom! That is the truth, and that is exactly what is going to happen when this recession shit drops, fucking hell, it is scary.
Are you ready for it? Shit, am I ready for it? How do I make the next move to get extra dollars in my pockets? How do I get to the next step to generate multiple incomes?

  • Drug Trafficking?
  • Scams/Frauds?
  • Another 9 to 5?

What are you going to do?
Some of us are fortunate enough to spend a whole mortgage fee on college tuition. The worst part about this is that a job is not guaranteed after 3 or 4 years of studying. The work place needs experience.. and more experience.. not just a degree BUT experience, degree/s, multilingualism and a bit of fitness expertise to be apart of the company's sports team. These companies need it all from you to guarantee a secured spot. Sometimes the spot is not even guaranteed because after 20 years you are fired and they say you were too "loyal". How Ironic? We all want financial freedom but how do we get to it?  This is how we split our finances, this is where our money goes:

  • bills
  • fees
  • taxes
  • miscellaneous expenses
  • savings
  • investments
  • retirement plans
  • holidays
  • emergency
  • fucking interest rates

Do you have the money?  Do you need that money? Shit, I know I do. Let me put this into figures. So that it is clearer. Money comes and it goes but we always  need it whether we have it or not.

  1. How much are you making a year?
  2. Do you even have time to juggle everything?
  3. How are you going to make more money to live comfortably in 10 years?

The 15 Steps to Success

  1. Your Mind is a GoldMind. As soon as you realise that you hold the power to your present and future in your brain then you start to think properly and wisely. "Walk with the wise and become wise or walk with a companion of fools{( and suffer harm)}/ and become a damn fool."  Proverbs 13:20. It depends on what YOU want in life.
  2. Ask for Help. "Ask and it shall be given, seek and ye shall find, knock an it shall open." Matthew 7:7. If you are stuck and you can not move forward ask someone who you can trust for help. Ask someone who is already doing what you would like to do for help. It is always good to ask for help but do not ask someone who cannot  even help themselves. Find yourself a trustworthy mentor who will help to guide you in the right direction.
  3. Do Not Waste Time/ No Procrastination. Change your lifestyle to be proactive and active. The best time to pursue your ideas is when they are fully desired in your mind. That is the best time to act.
  4. Be Creative. Open your mind to new ventures that will help you make money and and try it. Fail it, once, twice, quadruplets of times. You will learn what not to do.
  5. Read a Fucking Book. Educate yourself, Do not only depend on the educational system to help you. Read a book that will help you in the areas that you need to balance so that you can make it harmonious. Is it relationships, health, wealth, family, finance or mental health that you are struggling with? Read a book. "Formal education will make you a living, Self Education will make you a fortune." Jim Rohn. It is free to borrow a book from the library. Try it, sometimes. See if you like it.
  6. Challenge yourself. Push yourself to the extreme, go crazy if you need to, just keep going. Do not worry about what anyone else is doing. "The race is not for the swift but who can endure it." Ecclesiastes 9:11. Challenge yourself then keep going. Fall 7 times and get back up 8. Just keep going, you will discover and explore your strengths and weaknesses.
  7. Know Yourself. What is it that you like to do and what are you great at doing it? How can you use that tool to get you some millions? Do you have ideas you want to execute? Try them. It does not matter what your friends or family are saying, what is important is what you are saying. I once heard a saying that the richest place in the world is the grave yard. Why? Because people are buried with the golden dreams that they never executed. Knowledge is power but the real power is applying knowledge.
  8. There Is No Guilt In Success. Whether it is small or big. A victory is a victory. Celebrate yourself.
  9. Disappointments Are Stepping Stones. I hate disappointments, I really do but when I am at my lowest, I can only go up. OK so you lost your job, you failed your exams, your relationship ended and it is not the time to give up but it is the time for a new opportunity. If something did not work then it is time to look somewhere new. Open a new door, let go of the past and move forward. Are you a doer or a dabbler? Do you take action and turn off distractions or do you find reasons why it is not going to work when you have not even tried, or you tried but it is not working so you gave up instead of trying a new method? Which are you?
  10. Be Grateful. In order to have more than what you have today you need to be thankful to God and the universe for what you are blessed with it in this very moment. It is the only way you are going to receive more.
  11. Be a Wolf. Be aggressive, not passive. Be passionate. Be present. Be spontaneous. Be confident. Self your damn self even if you are full of shit. Impressions matter. DO your best to be presentable.  It is as simple as having clean fingernails, taking a shower, combing your hair, the way you walk, the way you smile, the pitch of your laugh, your eye contact, the way you sit and the way you hold a conversation. Your goals and your dreams are affecting your every move. How are you moving? Build confidence and strive for excellence. My advice is to try and be like the person you admire. I admire the fucking wolf of wall street. I want to be like that and I have only seen 10 minutes of the movie and based on what I have seen I like him. I like his confidence. I strive for it.
  12. Have Faith. Have faith in yourself. Just do it, whatever it is, be consistent and have faith. Rome was not built in a day right? I heard it is one of the most beautiful cities... and it was not built in a day. So do not think success comes over night. It is what you do towards your destination that matters, the destination is just another platform for another destination because we keep going, and then we die. But do not stay in one place. One job, one shitty friendship, one shitty relationship, one shitty house, one shitty life. Why are you living your life if you do not fucking like it? Whose life is it? Take control of it and change your mindset.
  13. Have a Vision With a Plan. A builder cannot build a house unless it is completed. It has to be completed in his mind, in his vision before he can put it on paper, then on the land. A ship without a destination is going to sail into nowhere but a ship with a destination is headed somewhere. So where are you going? Have you thought about that? Have you noticed that your life is a lot like the game chess? Have you ever played the game? Learn it. You have to be precise about your next move because it will determine your future in the game. Life is not a game, it is reality. Pinch yourself, you are going to feel it. So wake up and make better decisions that are going to benefit you, your family, your friends and your country in the next five years.
  14. Cancel Distractions. Quit it. A new life means new habits, I know for sure I cannot have the life I want with the habits I had yesterday. How can we push ourselves to be more? Well it's easy. Just do it.. The end. Fucking do it and cancel laziness, distractions and doubts. If social media is your distraction, delete them, but not my damn blog! A person who is trying to quit smoking is not going to have a pack of cigarettes lying around the house so delete the damn apps, or the video games. Focus on your life.
  15. Give back. For the sake of good karma, help those who are in need. Provide your service to them. Whether it is your time, finance, knowledge or skill. Hand someone else the baton so that when you are gone someone else may be able to give it back to the next generation.

          What is Success?

  1. Success is the worthy progression of a worthy cause. Earl Nightingale

  • This means that success to everyone is different. What is success to you? Success is being a mechanic because you want to. Success is being a taxi driver because you want to. Success is being a salesperson because you want to. Success is being a baker because you want to. Success is being a housewife because you want to. Success is being lazy because you want to. Success is being broke because you want to.

     2. Success is doing what the failures won't do. Jim Rohn

  • This means that you are going to do what others won't do to have what other's won't have. This definition of success is to be discipline, wake early and go to bed late because your drive and passion to succeed will not allow you to stop until you have "it" (success).

I tend to read a few chapters within a book, then stop reading it...which is a bad habit,  then I gravitate towards another book and so for a couple of months I have not finished reading a book. My favourite books at the moment are self help books which are mainly about driving success towards myself and developing the right mindset.

The only book I completed

  1. The Five Major Pieces to the Life Puzzle/Jim Rohn

The books I started reading but have NOT yet completed

  1. Think and Grow Rich/Napolean Hill
  2. Battlefield Of the Mind/Joyce Meyer
  3. Carry On, Warrior/ Glennon Melton
  4. Milk and Honey/Rupi Kaur
  5. The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year/Sue Townsend
  6. The Richest Man in Babylon/George Clason

The books I have but have not read

  1. The Challenge to Succeed A Philosophy for Successful Living/Jim Rohn
  2. Secrets of the Millionaire Mind/T. Harv Eker
  3. The 48 Laws of Power/Robert Greene
  4. All Universal Laws and Principles Governing Life/Niall Nicholson
  5. The Timeless Wealth Secrets
  6.  Limitless/Matt Lloyd
  7. Why Not Me?

The books I can remember reading

  1. The Roll Of Thunder, Hear My Cry/Mildred D Taylor
  2. Fifty Shades Trilogy/ E.L James
  3. The Twilight Saga/Stephanie Meyer
  4.  Crossfire Series/Slyvia day
  5.  Hunger Games Trilogy/Suzanne Collins
  6.  Looking For Alaska/John Green
  7. The Fault in Our Stars/John Green
  8. Will Grayson, Will Grayson/John Green
  9.  The Perks of being a Wallflower/Stephen Chbosky
I have read more books but I honestly cannot think of the names but there is this really interesting book that fell at my feet one night when I opened my closet door and so I decided to read it and it was about a banker who sent out an assassin to kill anyone who bought any of Vincent Van Gogh's Monet and that way he would get the insurance from the painting which made him one of the richest bankers.... Please do not get any ideas.

"You know you've read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend."
